1. Site setup & technical processing (item 01)

• Own site setup: provision of the contractor’s own tools, machinery, lifting equipment/mobile cranes and containers specifically required for metalwork (the main scaffolding is provided by the site management). This also includes a time-staggered, on-site measurement.
• Workshop and installation planning: preparation of the detailed construction and installation drawings at a scale of 1:50 to 1:1 as well as the calculated/structural design of the facade, glass and anchorages.
• As-built documentation: preparation of complete as-built documentation in German (2× paper, 1× digital) including all test reports and data sheets.

2. Post-and-beam facades & insert units (item 02)

• Mock-up / sample facade: manufacture and erection of a sample (2.50 m × 3.60 m) to coordinate appearance, fittings and connections.
• Post-and-beam facade: a multi-part, self-supporting aluminium-glass facade (Schüco system) with overall dimensions of 8,400 mm width × 3,600 mm height for the main entrance/services area on the ground floor.
• Profiles: face width 60 mm inside and outside, profile depth approx. 105 mm. Surface: silver-grey anodised.
• Glazing: triple thermal-insulation insulating glass (U_cw ≤ 0.9 W/(m²K)). Up to a height of at least 2.00 m, ball-impact-resistant laminated safety glass (LSG) is required.
• Bird protection: all glass types receive integrated bird protection made of vertical, black, matt adhesive strips (5 mm wide, spaced 100 mm apart).
• Blind fields / panels: insulated aluminium sandwich panels in the upper finish and plinth area (insulation core at least 180 mm and 150 mm respectively).
• Element layout: 4 large fixed glazings, 1 opaque panel with door button, as well as the openings for the following insert units.
• Insert unit – tilt window: a single-leaf top-hung tilt window (1,500 mm × 1,200 mm) of aluminium, designed as a smoke-extraction window (RA) with a minimum opening angle of 50°.
• External door assembly: a two-leaf, large-area glazed aluminium frame door (2,250 mm × 2,400 mm) as the main entrance door.
• Execution: symmetrically divided active and secondary leaf, opening outwards, fully accessible and threshold-free.
• Security: equipped with full-panic function (secondary leaf with panic shoot-bolt).

3. Key building-physics & ecological requirements (DGNB Gold)

• Sustainability (DGNB Gold certification): only recycled aluminium with a greatly reduced global warming potential (GWP ≤ 2.27 or ≤ 4.47 kg CO₂e/kg) may be used. All materials used (sealants, foams) must be low-emission (VOC-free, EMICODE EC1 Plus) and free of halogenated blowing agents.
• Tightness & protection: the facade must meet strict values for air permeability (class 4), driving-rain tightness (class 9A) and wind load (class C5). Installation is thermally decoupled (at least 10 mm thermal break under the anchors).
